A bit of history…
The Cooperativa de Trabajo Apícola Pampero Limitada (CAP)
was founded in Argentina in 2012 from the associative and
multi-disciplinary work of people involved in the regional beekeeping.
From the beginning, we were focused in the beekeping self-sustainability
by giving accessibility to the means of production.
After achieving the objective of creating the Worker Cooperative, we focused on many tasks while always taking into consideration the motto that defines us: ‘we’re an organization of beekeepers for the beekeepers’.
Because of that, we offer free technical counselling for more than 250 producers from the southwestern region of the province of Buenos Aires, who established the Pampero Chamber of Beekeepers in 2012 (Chamber and Cooperative both known as ‘CAP’).
RESEARCH
We dedicate ourselves to the research
of everything related to the beekeeping
that could lead to an improvement of the
activity and the beekeeper.
Therefore, we have dedicated teams for:
health, nutrition, population,
production, pollination
and beekeeping history.
INDUSTRIALIZATION
We focus on manufacturing a wide variety of products
for and by the keepeers, with a commitment with
the environmental protection and developing
our own machinery with our
industrialization team.
We sell our cooperative products with a
fair price for the beekeepers and the society.
We believe that it’s necessary to show the beekeeping
activity and it’s products to the whole society and
spread the value of the bee for the ecosystem,
the labour of the beekeeper and the importance of the
cooperativism as a way of working.
Because of that, we offer free educational talks in schools,
we’ve developed our own publishing (Pampero) and
we make Technical Meeting days where we get to
known each other and share our knowledge
with the society.
